Free and Pro

What Free includes

Free tracks time forever: the drag calendar, the timer, phases, tasks, and hours budgets on any phase cost nothing and keep working after a trial.

  • Up to 3 active projects. Archiving is unlimited, so an old project never uses up a slot.
  • Up to 2 phases on a phased project. A simple project's one hidden phase does not count.
  • Hours budgets on any phase, with the remaining hours shown on Projects.
  • Quick task suggestions from the one shared Default list.
  • Time Reports for a client, carrying a small "Made with Phased" credit in place of your letterhead, and a CSV export of any range, both from the Time page.
  • A full JSON backup of your data, from Settings.

Going over the project or phase limit only happens when Pro ends: while you are on Free from the start, Phased simply will not let a fourth project become active or a third phase get added.

What Pro adds

Pro adds the money side of the job on top of everything Free already does.

  • Unlimited active projects and phases.
  • Task groups you organise yourself, chosen per project and per phase.
  • Money budgets: on a budgeted phase, the budget is the price.
  • Budget health labels and overrun warnings across every phase.
  • Effective rate and the Profitability dashboard.
  • Phase Report and Project Report, the two documents that go to a client, with your letterhead instead of the Phased credit.
  • The internal Time Report, written for you, with private notes and additional statistics.
  • Project templates, so a repeat job starts already set up.

Trial, upgrading and cancelling

Every account starts with a 30-day Pro trial, no card required. Phased emails you 5 days before it ends, and once more after, so nothing changes without warning.

Pro is a single plan: €7 a month, or €66 a year (about €5.50 a month), both excluding VAT, which is added at checkout at your country's rate.

  1. Press Upgrade to Pro in the sidebar, or open Settings › Plan and press the same button there.

    On a trial the button reads Subscribe to Pro instead.

  2. Choose Monthly or Yearly.
  3. Tick the box accepting the terms, then press the price button.

    You are taken to a Creem-hosted checkout page. Creem is Phased's merchant of record and handles the payment, the billing documents, and the receipt.

Starting a subscription during your trial charges you immediately. Any trial days left are not banked or restarted.

To manage or end a subscription, open Settings › Plan and press Manage billing, which opens the same Creem portal. Cancelling keeps Pro on until the current period ends. After that the account returns to Free. Your data is never deleted on downgrade. Existing Pro-only values stay visible and keep applying, but changing them remains locked. Active projects and new phases then follow the Free limits above.
