Control the Monday summary email, change your email address, sign in by email code or Google, sign out old devices, and find the legal documents in Settings.

Weekly summary

Turn the weekly email on or off in Settings › Notifications. It is on for a new account. Every email also has a link to unsubscribe with one click. Phased sends it only after a week in which you tracked time. It summarises that week's hours and value. On Pro it also shows budget health.

Phased sends it on Monday at 08:00, in the workspace time zone shown in Settings. You can change that time zone under Week & time.

Change your email address

Open Settings › Sign-in & security and press Change email. Enter the new address and press Send approval link.

  • If your current address is verified, Phased first sends an approval link to that address. Approve the change there. Then confirm the link sent to the new address.
  • If your current address is not verified, only the new address gets a link. Confirm it there.
  • Your account keeps the old address until you finish these steps.
  • When the change is complete, your other devices are signed out.
  • If you signed in with Google, the change also disconnects Google. From then on, sign in with a code sent to the new address.

Signing in

Phased has no passwords. On the sign-in page, enter your email address and press Email me a code. We email you a 6-digit code, and you type it in. A code works for 10 minutes and for 3 tries. If it stops working, press Send a new code. You can also press Continue with Google.

A device stays signed in for 60 days. Each day you use Phased, the 60 days start again. You need a new code only on a new device or after a long break.

If you created your account when Phased still had passwords, you sign in the same way: with a code sent to the same email address. It is the same account with the same data. Your first sign-in with a code deletes the old password and signs out your other devices. Your first sign-in with Google does the same, and we send you an email about it.

Signed-in devices

Settings › Sign-in & security › Signed-in devices lists every device where your account is signed in, for example "Chrome on Windows". The device you are using is marked This device. The others show the day they were last active.

  • Press Sign out next to a device to sign it out.
  • Press Sign out everywhere else to sign out every device except this one.
  • A device you sign out can keep working for up to a minute before it stops.

Each time someone signs in to your account with a code or with Google, we send you an email, "New sign-in to Phased", with the device name. We do not send it for the sign-in that creates your account. If the sign-in was not you, sign that device out here.
