Common questions
Where are my sessions saved?
Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to us, and you don't need an account. If you clear your browser data or switch computers, your sessions won't come with you, so export them as CSV if you want to keep them.
Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?
Yes. The timer only remembers when you started, so you can close the tab or even restart your computer. When you come back to this page, it's still counting.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, it works in any browser, including on your phone. Just keep in mind that your sessions stay on the device where you tracked them.
Can I change a note later?
Yes. Click the note on any session and type a new one. Press Enter and it's saved.
How is this different from Phased?
This timer gives you a simple list of sessions. Phased puts every hour on a project and a phase, compares it with the fee or budget, and shows you what each phase actually earns. You can also send your clients clean reports of the time.
