Keep the project fee connected to delivery
Phased organises work as Project → Phase → Task, then records time through Grid, List, or the live timer. Split the agreed price across phases and follow each phase's budget use and current effective hourly rate as delivery continues. The rate remains provisional until the work is finished.
When extra work arrives, mark that entry Out of scope. It no longer consumes the agreed phase budget, and a frozen Phase or Project Report can itemise it as Additional Work. Phased stops at that client-ready record: it does not turn the record into a billing document or collect payment.

What happens if my studio grows?
Phased remains one person per account. Separate collaborators can each send a Time Report to a studio owner, but their accounts do not share projects, approvals, capacity, billing documents, or payments. Harvest is built for teams that need those records and the billing loop in one system.
